Step inside the home of today’s Dutch master painter, Cornelis le Mair (81), one of the most inspiring creators of our time. 

Cornelis is, in fact, more than just a painter; he builds furniture and musical instruments, conceives architectural fantasies, and has written, among other works, a novel called ‘Vanitas’. 

We are standing in the studio of his home. He designed his entire house himself, and it is filled with his own works, self-built furniture and countless 17th-century antique treasures from worldwide places such as Persia and Rajasthan.

I had the honor of taking a look into the world of this master painter and capturing him in his historic house.
